Hazel Brielle
7:06 am
7 lbs 6 oz
19" long
Hazel came into this world SCREAMING...Mitch and I looked at eachother and thought uh-oh..haha but she finally calmed down and has been such a sweet baby. We LOVE her to pieces!! Boston loves her and is extremely protective of that little girl. He just about beat up the nurses when they took her back to the nusery..also at her check ups when they give her shots he tells them to get away from his sis and leave her alone! So basically he is the only one that can pick on her ;)
Delivery story..not very excited because it was a planned c-section. I was scheduled for 38 weeks to make sure that I wouldn't start contracting since I had a classical c-section with Kaylee (which is an upside down T, they cut my skin horizontal by my bikini line and then went under the skin veritcally). I wanted to try a VBAC but that is a big no no after classicals. Anyway everything went wonderfully and we were blessed with another beautiful baby girl!

Boston's First Jazz Game
I know I am not going in order, but I am just behind so at least it is getting done. On the 15th of March, our little family went and watched the Jazz vs. Wizards. It was totally a last minute thing, we found tickets on KSL at like 2:00 pm and left at 2:30. So don't judge my appearance because I baby sat all day, came home, and then we left. I never get ready when I baby sit at 8 in the morning....I know...I am super lazy! This picture is the last picture of me being pregnant. But anyway...it was a lot of fun bringing Boston because he was dancing, cheering, had to have his own seat and move the guys arm off the rest who was sitting next to him, and made people around him play "animals" with him. We thoroughly enjoyed it! I don't know if the people next to us did, but they won't ever see us again....so it's all good!

Introducing Kaylee Hazel

On March 16th, about 8 o'clock in morning I felt a big gush and I jumped out of bed and told Mitch that my water had just broke. So we headed to Blackfoot very unprepared because I was only 30 weeks along. I was expecting her to come early, but not that early. I was really scared that she wasn't alive because the doctors told me that they thought she wouldn't make it and so when that happens, usually your body goes into labor on its own. But I knew that I felt her moving a lot the night before, so I wasn't sure. But on the drive I felt a little kick so I knew that couldn't be the reason why my water had broken.
When we arrived to the hospital they checked my pH levels to see if it really was my water that had broken and the paper didn't change color so they thought it was just some other membrane ( I really don't know what they thought it was) or that I peed my pants severely. I told them that when I had Boston that the nurses weren't able to tell if it was my water either but the reason why they kept me at the hospital that time was because I was 38 weeks, contracting, and dialated to like a 6 or 7. But this time I wasn't dialated, wasn't contracting, and I was only 30 weeks. So I went home feeling really stupid that I had just wet my pants. Well, throughout the day I kept "wetting my pants." And the next day . And the next day. So I went to my doctor's office because I couldn't stand it any longer. BUT, they still couldn't prove that it was my water. So he did an ultrasound to measure the fluid, and I didn't have as much as I was supposed to but there was still a decent amount in there. He also was able to see that she was breech. So I asked him if I could just take a pH paper thing home, so I wouldn't have to keep coming back and at 5:30 that night I tested it and the paper turned purple/dark blue (which means it is amniotic fluid) so I called my doc and we headed to Blackfoot again.
We ended up having to do a c-section which I was totally against but I am so happy that we chose to do so. So on March 18th at 7:57 pm, Kaylee was born. She was 2 lbs 14 oz 14 3/4" long with dark hair, chubby cheeks, and a little dimple in her chin like her older brother. She lived for a miraculous one hour and 13 minutes. Boston was able to hold her, and he did an awesome job, he was super sweet and couldn't stop smiling and kept saying baby. He would get mad when we would take her from him. All that practice holding baby dolls paid off because he did a great job.
We found out in February that Kaylee wouldn't be able to live outside of the womb and possibly wouldn't make it through the rest of the pregnancy. She proved the doctors wrong and was strong from the beginning. The complications were caused by amniotic band syndrome which is rare and they had never seen a case like hers before. I feel so lucky to have spent the time that I did with her and we miss her very much but look forward to be with her again.

Painting is Finished...Finally!
Thanks to Lloyd, Kaye, and Tara, my living room is finally finished. Now I just have to finish hanging up things. So, hopefully it won't take me 4 months to do so. I am horrible at doing stuff like that because I always have to someone elses opinion and Mitch isn't that much help because he's like, "Honey, looks great." Meanwhile, he hasn't even looked up from the computer. So we'll see when I get it done.. I was going to post some pictures, but I decided I want to hang everything up first. So I guess this was a weird post but I just wanted everyone to know that I accomplished something or I guess I should say that my in-laws did!! Anyway, I want to thank them again for their help..without them...we would have never got it done! So...thank you so much!
Christmas
We had a great Christmas! It was so fun being with both of our families and to watch Boston enjoy his presents a little more this time around.
